Job Description:

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Massage Therapists to join our team in Malta. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to our clients, helping them relax, alleviate pain, and improve their overall well-being. Your knowledge of various massage techniques, ability to customize treatments to meet individual needs, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to the success of our spa and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, and sports massage.
• Assess clients’ needs and preferences, and customize massage treatments accordingly.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and relaxing treatment room environment.
• Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of clients’ personal information and treatment records.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on post-massage care.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients.
• Follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices, including regular handwashing and sanitizing of equipment and surfaces.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new massage techniques, and advancements in the field.
• Collaborate effectively with other spa staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
• Uphold excellent customer service by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for clients and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
• Participate in training and professional development activities as required.

Requirements:

• Valid certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred.
• Knowledge of various massage techniques and their therapeutic benefits.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the human body.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen attentively to clients’ needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Professional and friendly demeanor with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform massages for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
