Job Description:

We are currently seeking meticulous and efficient Packagers to join our team in Malta. As a Packager, you will be responsible for preparing products for distribution by properly packaging and labeling them. Your attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards will contribute to the smooth operation of our packaging processes and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Review packaging instructions and follow established procedures for packaging products.
• Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet specified standards before packaging.
• Package products according to specific requirements, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and containers.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment, such as labeling machines, sealers, and weighing scales.
• Label packages accurately with required information, such as product codes, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Arrange packaged products on pallets or in boxes, ensuring they are properly organized and secured.
• Monitor packaging supplies and replenish as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area, including cleaning packaging equipment and disposing of waste properly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors.
• Perform quality checks on packaged products to verify accuracy and identify any defects or discrepancies.
• Follow proper procedures for the handling and storage of packaged products.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Packager or in a similar role is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow packaging instructions and specifications.
• Familiarity with packaging machinery and equipment is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measuring and weighing packaging materials.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Basic computer skills for recording packaging data.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
