Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pump Attendant to join our team in Malta. As a Pump Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers at the fuel station. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to handle cash transactions will contribute to a positive and efficient experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly and professional service at the fuel station.
• Operate fuel pumps and assist customers in fueling their vehicles.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper accounting of sales and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Monitor fuel levels in underground storage tanks and replenish fuel supplies as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of fuel dispensing equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Provide assistance to customers with additional services, such as checking tire pressure, cleaning windshields, and providing information about fuel products and promotions.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel station, including the fueling area, pump islands, and convenience store (if applicable).
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory of convenience store items, including snacks, beverages, and other products.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations at the fuel station.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pump Attendant or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating fuel quantities.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with fuel station operations and safety protocols is a plus.
• Must be a reliable and trustworthy individual.
