Job Description:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Sales Attendants to join our team in Malta. As a Sales Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maximizing sales opportunities. Your friendly demeanor, product knowledge, and ability to assist customers with their inquiries and purchases will contribute to the success of our store and the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide information on product features, pricing, and availability.
• Offer personalized recommendations and suggestions based on customers’ needs and preferences.
• Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and shelves are well-stocked.
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring adherence to proper cash handling procedures.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and stay informed about current promotions and special offers.
• Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
• Participate in inventory management activities, including periodic stock counts and replenishment.
• Collaborate effectively with other sales team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including workstations, counters, and display areas.
• Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments to better serve customers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for assisting customers.
• Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
