Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable and vigilant Security Staff to join our team in Malta. As a Security Staff member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Your strong attention to detail, excellent observational skills, and ability to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents will contribute to the overall security and well-being of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the security and safety of premises, property, and individuals.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter illegal and unauthorized activities.
• Conduct regular security checks of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats.
• Perform access control duties, including checking identification, verifying credentials, and issuing visitor passes.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, and take appropriate actions as per established protocols.
• Investigate and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities.
• Write detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting and guiding clients, employees, and visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with other security staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
• Stay updated on security procedures, emergency protocols, and company policies.
• Participate in training sessions and drills to enhance security preparedness.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
• Adhere to all legal and ethical standards pertaining to security operations.
• Follow company guidelines and regulations to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities in stressful situations.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with security equipment (e.g., surveillance cameras, access control systems).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Valid security license/certification is preferred.
