Job Description:

We are currently seeking skilled and creative Bartenders to join our team in Malta. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages to our guests. Your exceptional mixology skills, knowledge of drink recipes, and ability to create a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere will contribute to the success of our bar and the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and consistency in taste and presentation.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a positive and lively atmosphere.
• Provide recommendations and guidance to guests in selecting beverages based on their preferences and menu offerings.
• Prepare garnishes, such as fruits, herbs, and condiments, to enhance the appearance and flavor of drinks.
• Follow standard recipes and techniques to mix cocktails, including shaking, stirring, and building.
• Adhere to responsible serving practices and ensure compliance with legal drinking age and alcohol consumption regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed, ensuring the availability of ingredients and supplies.
• Operate cash registers and process payments accurately, adhering to established cash handling procedures.
• Interact with customers, taking orders and providing attentive and prompt service.
• Upsell and promote special offers, seasonal drinks, and bar promotions to maximize sales.
• Collaborate effectively with the waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and resolve them to the best of your ability.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Stay updated on current trends in mixology, new drink recipes, and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
• Strong understanding of responsible serving practices and legal drinking age regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
