Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible Delivery Drivers to join our team in Malta. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. Your excellent driving skills, customer service orientation, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our delivery operations and the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle in a careful and organized manner.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation upon delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a polite and professional manner.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and appropriately.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or damages to the supervisor.
• Maintain delivery records and documentation accurately and submit required reports in a timely manner.
• Collaborate effectively with the dispatch team and other drivers to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow proper procedures for the handling and storage of goods during transit.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the local area and routes.
• Excellent driving skills and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple delivery tasks.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy packages, if required.
• Basic math and organizational skills for record-keeping.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications is a plus.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
