Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team in Malta. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise in electrical work will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our clients’ properties.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, switches, and circuit breakers, in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and equipment to identify any defects or malfunctions and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as testing electrical systems, cleaning contacts, and lubricating moving parts to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical plans to determine the layout and specifications for electrical installations.
• Install and connect electrical panels, outlets, and lighting fixtures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide satisfactory solutions.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated with industry advancements, technological developments, and best practices in electrical systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician or a similar role.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical installation or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, including an understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to clients and team members.
• Valid electrical license or certification (A&B) issued by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in various locations and adapt to different working environments.
