Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Food Factory Handlers to join our team in Malta. As a Food Factory Handler, you will play a crucial role in the production and packaging of food products in our factory. Your attention to hygiene and quality standards, along with your ability to follow processes and procedures, will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our food manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Follow standardized procedures and guidelines to handle, process, and package food products in the factory.
• Operate machinery and equipment, such as mixers, conveyors, and packaging machines, ensuring they are properly set up and calibrated.
• Monitor production lines to ensure products are being processed, packaged, and labeled accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining cleanliness in the production area.
• Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any quality or safety issues encountered.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors or quality control personnel.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining production machinery and equipment is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Basic math and computer skills for recording production data.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Valid food handling and hygiene certification is desirable.
