Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in Malta. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise in HVAC systems will contribute to the comfort and efficiency of our clients’ properties.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with company standards and client specifications.
• Inspect HVAC systems and components to identify any defects or malfunctions and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems and utilize appropriate tools and techniques to resolve them.
• Install and connect control wiring, thermostats, and other HVAC equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide satisfactory solutions.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated with industry advancements, technological developments, and best practices in HVAC systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or a similar role.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including various types of equipment, components, and their functions.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in various locations and adapt to different working environments.
