Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Workers to join our team in Malta. As a Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and cleanliness of our facilities. Your ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards will contribute to the overall efficiency and appearance of our premises.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, carpentry, and general handyman work.
• Inspect and repair equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any issues or emergencies that may arise.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns and prolong their lifespan.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas, equipment rooms, and maintenance workshops.
• Monitor and troubleshoot building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in all maintenance and repair tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with other maintenance workers and team members to support efficient workflow and completion of tasks.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance work.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and report findings to supervisors.
• Provide support and assistance to other departments, as needed, in relation to maintenance-related tasks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain the quality and appearance of the premises.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
