Job Description:

We are currently seeking professional and customer-oriented Taxi Drivers to join our team in Malta. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to passengers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Your excellent driving skills, knowledge of local routes, and friendly demeanor will contribute to creating a positive experience for our passengers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a taxi to transport passengers to their destinations.
• Greet passengers in a courteous and friendly manner, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant ride.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings as needed.
• Follow local traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained taxi, both inside and out.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Keep track of work hours, mileage, and fares accurately for reporting and billing purposes.
• Provide accurate fare calculations and collect payments from passengers.
• Follow recommended routes or use GPS navigation to ensure efficient and timely arrivals.
• Keep abreast of current traffic conditions and adjust routes accordingly.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards passengers at all times.
• Handle passenger inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and resolve them to the best of your ability.
• Ensure passenger safety by adhering to all safety regulations and driving defensively.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Taxi Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and routes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly and courteous demeanor towards passengers.
• Ability to handle and resolve difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Physical fitness and ability to assist passengers with loading and unloading.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile apps for efficient route planning.
• Good command of English; knowledge of other languages, such as Maltese or Italian, is an advantage.
