Job Description:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Banquet Waiters to join our team in Malta. As a Banquet Waiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests during banquets, weddings, conferences, and other special events. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional service skills will contribute to the success of our events and leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet venues according to event requirements, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
• Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their assigned tables or seating areas.
• Assist in taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide menu recommendations or explanations as needed.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or special requests.
• Ensure all tables are properly set with clean utensils, glassware, and tableware before guests are seated.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area throughout the event, clearing empty plates and glassware, and resetting tables as necessary.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet equipment and furniture.
• Collaborate effectively with other banquet staff, including chefs, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of banquet equipment and utensils.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including dress code and grooming standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Banquet Waiter or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service principles and etiquette.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
